A beautiful sight, the Latium.

Gifted with forests, meadows, mountains, valleys, rivers and lakes and embedded 25 Nature Parks and Preserves.
It does not need "touristical updates", is honest, with a really bright blue sea (first rated beaches with blue flags),
with an archipel only a few miles in front of the coast.
Only the first view and thought let you think about an unknwon area - but here is Rome, the eternal capitol, with

the famous ancient roman ruins and memorials.: Rome, in its "entirety", which contains the whole evolution of the

roman architecture.
The region Latium is the worthy "frame" for this "Rome".

A frame build out of history and landscape.

History and art in a perfect symbiosis: Mountains and canyons, karsic caves and dead vulcanos, cliffs and grottoes along the sea. Lonesome and peaceful hidden sacred places and derelicted churches, uninhabited villages and towns, which are stuck to the tuff/trass-rockets. This region Latium ist simply a guarantee for a huge choice of interests.

"Bed & Breakfast" is the ideal way do discover all of this.

The Vatican

From ancient times the epitome of political and religious power.

Over many centuries the unlimited center of  Mittelpunkt of the occident, the western world - fascinating until today.
From time immemorial with a symbolic power: a power, which - as well on international level - religiously AND politically/diplomatically has the same value like much bigger countries. How temporal/secolaristic this world may be today - she seems to be under the influence of this transcendent authority.
With a size in total of only 40 hectar the Vatican is the smallest, still poweful and sovereign Nation of this world.

There is MUCH more than just the art-collections of the Vatican - and the spirituality of this world capitol and historical center of this it is simply breathtaking... .

Sabaudia

An Oasis! One word to describe a town, where nature has left its most beautiful footmarks: 3400 hectar bis is the Forest 'Selva del Circeo', the long, giant coast-dune, rich of typical mediterranean Flora, the lakes 'di Monaci', 'Caprolace' and 'di Paola', the archaeologic remainder, sea and sun guaranteed... You arrive on the national road 'S.S. 148 Pontina', but if you are not in a hurry, there are two alternatives, which are really worthy the few minutes delay:: The 'Litoranea Pontina (Severiana)', which crawls with many curves between the fields and the lush vegetation of the Parcs, or the 'Lungomare Pontina', which leads you from 'Rio Martino' (Latina) on one side along the beaches of the cristalclear sea and on the other hand along the lakes.
Founded on the 5th of  August 1933 this town kept its original architectural structures, wherefrom she has the name "City of Rationalism": the 'Piazza del Comune', with the 42 m high Citytower and the townhall, the previous faschistic political headcenter, the school, the chruch 'dell'Annunziata', the hotel, the cinema and all other buildings from the "Gründerzeit". Directly behind the City you are at the banks of the 'Lago di Paola' (or 'di Sabaudia'), whichs numerous branches and flora and fauna (many birds) are remarkable.

Nationalpark of Circeo

The National Park of Circeo is between the tyrrhanian coast and the southern Latium, almost 100 km south of Rome, along the coast between ANZIO and Terracina.
Its size is around 8.500 hectar, which are totally in the province of Latina and here in the area of Latina, Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo and (regarding the islands) Zannone and Ponza.
Circeo is fairly good prepared for handicaped visitors - first because of the natural predispositions with its flat terretroy and as well regarding the applications and offers of the visitorcenter.
